ML320, Looking for my S4
new car choices
Well, as much as i love my E and being that i have got an appointment this week to fix my car, I'm thinking of a new car. My choices are an 03 Clk55 for 30K and an 98 C43 for 18K. Any ideas on the two?

Why though? The CLK 55 looks better and the motor in the CLK55 already has the W210 E55 motor in it. Why spend the extra time, money, and HASSLE to get another engine in to retrofit? Did I mention the CLK looks better, a hell of a lot better?
Come on kid, use your brain now. And secondly, stay away from HPS. They have a shady record with members here. Just do a search on HPS. Go with Kleemann or Renntech.

alright, well clk it is, the only part about the clk thats kinda annoying me is the fact that i'll hqve car payments for a while. but i do agree the clk is a really nice car. thanks guys

This is kind of late, but I'd get the CLK55 too. One of my neighbors has one (bought used but I don't know model year or at what mileage). He has had some minor electrical issues, but that the engine and transmission are awesome. I really like the looks of it too!

yeah come on kid use your head!! lol yeah the 55 is way better than the c class. but the best decision for you to make, is to stay with the E for now. sooner or later you're going to regret geting the clk since the new clk 63, has 100 more hp then the 55 and has more then 2x the hp compared to your current E. I feel you though since you live in the russian side of forest hills, you probably see young kids driving their parents 7 series and its making our E's look old.

its not even the fact seeing a s55 or cl55 or 745i or 750i or the a8's that are driven by 20 year olds. my car has been with me through this 2 year realation****, and its just gone sooo bad that every time i get in my car it just brings back memories. the whole thing about the c43 vs clk55 is that i prefer the older benz look but the gadgets in the newer ones. btw some kid a block from me just bought a maserati quattroporte, and i have to see it every F'in day i walk to my car. stupid maffia kids.
