Another tip that's not in the owners manual.
In the passenger side foot well is an access whole covered by a plastic door.Open it up and you can disconnect the negative terminal of your battery, without having to remove the back seat.E320 at least....

Have your radio code handy

that one was in my manual (99 210). here is another tip (in manual also) is the
existance of POS terminal in the engine bay. saves having to pop the rear seat
when attempting to jump start the car. i've also used this to power a small
trouble light' which I store in the engine compartment for emergency use after
dark.
i went for 2+ years before i realized there was an oil check mode via dash.
shortly afterwards I discovered that instead of pressing buttons, I can also
do this by pressing the brake pedel about 7x, to trigger oil check.

I opened the plastic door but I found 12 fuses, which one is for the battery?

Yours
must be different, the door is on the vertical part of the footwell next to the trnasmission hump in the rear seat area.If your model has fuses in there you need to lift the seat to ger at the battery.Have your radio code handy and be prepared to resync all the things that need to be re synced after battery disconnect.
