6000k or 8000k?
ºK is color temperature, whereas ºF/ºC is heat tempertaure[/QUOTE]
Without getting into any science because thi sis about lights, even though Kelvin is a color temperature the C degree is the same as a K just on a different scale. The more the heat, the more the color change. Thats why the 12000k is so hot it discharges blue/purple. The heat discharges the color.

i agree. it's getting into an apples/oranges issue because it's possible to
have high ºK yet cold heat temperature. so appropriately, Kelvin scale
probably isn't the best measure anyway.

Those bright blue lights aren't that good and they are crap to look at oncoming towards you,imo...
my best to you!

This is 12,000k on my Honda Del Sol, i have the same kit on my E-Class. Doesnt look purple to me
, anyway the only point you do make is that they are illegal, but they light up the road great! and i have never been pulled over because of them. If by any case you do, its only a fix ticket for $10.00 bucks. Take care.-Leo
certain things on the road better....that's not to say that the lumens are
correspondingly higher. let's say you're be in a dark room with 20 watt bulb
and it appears sooo dim. you then swap out with 20 watt black light and you
instantly see certain colors pop out more....appearing to be brighter. that is
anecdotal but nonetheless, doesn't equate to the light being brighter....across
the spectrum and for our receptors. simply a play on vision....when in fact,
the bulb may be emitting less light.
fact is, when you introduce color biased lighting, the ability to see certain
objects (colors) better is simply a byproduct of reflection....and the colors of
the objects reflecting them, i opine (i slept through physics).
You guys should check out this website...very informative.
