Gave my 97 E300 a quick Polish with some Menzerna 106FF and my rotary, then topped it with S100 Canuba. I also tossed in my "new to me" Zam built RS6 Bi-Xenon Depo's I got from "HighEnd".

It looks as a brand new car. FANTASTIC.
but I think you need to change the number plates as well to suit the look.

Thanks guys, no mods planned I've contemplated E55 springs and 18" Monoblocks but I think i'll leave it the way it is... The front plate is required by Mass law so it can't go anywhere.

I've been tempted a couple times to pick up something a little more flashy and new like a newer B6 S4, E46 M3, E39 M5, etc but this thing get 32+MPG and is just so comfortable and reliable, its paid for and was cheap too

Well,Zack, can't say I blame you,why go into debt when you already have a nice car. BUT ,the rims would really bring out your car, again,,Good Luck with it

Looks Minty Fresh Bawla!

Gotta get some 18's and E55 springs to complete her.

BTW. Almost done with my E55 spring/suspension upgrade. It's sooo much lower than before, like at a perfect sporty/agressive ride height.

Looks good Zack but I agree with the fellas, you need some new shoes and suspension...

Mich, E55 stock springs made your car lower or are you using the Euro springs?

To the best of my knowldge they are OEM E55 springs, not euro. Purchased them from a prior member that had them installed on an E420.

Hmmm, Chris (E300TD) has these same springs on his car on 18" AMG's and the front sits almost like mine on stock 55 springs and #1 pads but the rear is still pretty high. Anyway, I was just curious to see if you were doing something different. I just picked up his Eibach pros and will get around to installing them when I get back home from my biz trip. Laterz...

Oh, and sorry for the off-topic!

Thanks for the complimets guys, I love the look of the Mono's and springs but the cost and potential loss of ride comfort don't appeal to me enough...

Its kind of like Jay-Z says in his song 30 something "I'm old enough to know the right car to buy, yet grown enough not to put rims on it" etc etc

Yes but we're not talking about ricing or blinging out your car, just a few positive visual and handling upgrades to better enhance your overall driving experience. The stock E55 comes with the wheels we suggested and sits at about the height we also suggested. There was no reason to change out your headlights but you did I assume to do better visability at night and also the visual upgrade as well. If you decide to keep the car the way it is then that's great, it's a very clean looking E. Take care and enjoy the car...

hey ZACK, hows the new headlights compared to the old ones? im not talking about looks, since obviously the new ones look way better. im talking about the stength of the light output. which one do you prefer?
