any OBDII scanner should be able to. Try finding someone with one or else you might have to pay at the stealership.

You need a special scanner to reset it, not just the OBDII. Call around to some independent shops and find a sgood one who can do it. The dealers wanted $100 minimum for the 2-minute job - but my local shop did it for free (I gave him a $20 tip).

Really? didn't know that. Last time my buddy he just used a regular scanner and reset the light  Maybe it was just a brake pad low warning...Good to know.

I'm pretty sure it is a self testing system. Correct the problem and the light will go off on it's own.

OBDII on my car does not pick up on the SRS errors - so I doubt that is the solution.

Nope. It won't clear. I just had the same problem a few weeks back, setting the SRS light permanently when I turned the ignition on while the airbag was out. It doesn't clear itself - someone told me it's a law now.
The scanner used to clear it plugged into the connector under the hood, near the fuse box on the driver's side.
