FS: lot of parts, trade-in my car

I'm trading in my car, it's getting to the point where maintenance & repair (cost & time) is beyond level where I'm comfortable at. Also, I need a softer ride for my little boy. Bilstein HD & sport wheels only cool w/o kid in the back seat

I am putting all of the original part back, and now have quite a few parts for sale. All are in top condition, I keep good care of my car.

I'll take detail pix of all the part listed bellow later, for now, I'll show pix of them on my car. I prefer local pickup (SoCal), to save hassle with shipping

All price are shipping included, except the wheels and headlight

- For wheels (Rims and Tire). The tires are almost new, have less than 3K mile on them. Tires are BF Goodrich G-Force. I paid around $600 for a set of four tires last month, size 235/45/17. Rims came from the 2001 limited edition E430, size 17" with 8" wide, it's very hard to get this OEM set of rim (similar set sell on eBay for $1200, rims only). I had the rims chromed at ChromeTech in Anaheim (one of the best chroming place in US). Wheels are already balanced. Rims and tires are in top condition. Nice upgrade. $1000 or best offer

- TV head unit Clarion TVX5653, came with built in TV tuner (rare !!) and FM modulator, so no need for additional stuff to work w/ your existing stereo. I also have the anttena adaptor for the Mercedes headunit (needed for FM modulator to work) This unit is the only one that fit into the compactment under the head unit & allow the door to be closed & cover the TV when not in use. It came with the A/V adaptor (Clarion brand) so that you can hook up additional non-Clarion stuff to it (Audio/Video). Just the adaptor cost me $80 from Clarion. $140/shipped for all.

- Stereo head unit (used on later model, 99-later), with optical CD changer control. Made by Alpine, better build & sound than the Becker crap. Came with security code. $120/shipped.

- Instrument cluster case & housing, with the chrome rings already installed. Apply them to the back end of your cluster for nice interior upgrade (and retain your mileage): $80/shipped

-The famous ZAM headlight: Depo headlight with Lexus LS430 projector fabricated inside. Ballast came from Acura TL (Mitsubishi ballast ,the best one out there). Xenon bulbs are Philips 85122+. It also have the 3M film on top to prevent scratch & dull. Just part itself cost me close to $1500 when I built this headlight two years ago, and took me forever to finish it. I used all the best parts in it. The rubber rings is old, but can be clean up to make it look nice. No leak whatsoever. Definitely make your car stand out (especially at night, where it lid up the entire 6 lanes hightway. Notice that this headlight fit 96-99 only, and will not trigger any lamp message (no reprogram needed). If you're in SoCal, I can help to install & aim them for free. This is the best Mercedes headlight in the world, it make the standard OEM xenon look like flash light Give me your best offer

Zam,
Think of your little boy. He needs to grow up around Mercedes. Plus, who's going to carry on the headlight business?

Unfortunately, they won't fit. But I can build you a set for facelift if you want.

Hey Zam, what about the shift knob?

How much work there is to install the TV unit? I have installed my own stereo system on Japanese car before - so I am O.K in the electronic department.

The shift knob went in with the car, since I don't keep the old one.

The TV is pending sale, I'll keep you updated. It's pretty simple to install it, since the unit already have built in FM modulator and TV tuner.

Update: TV is sold.
Radio unit is sold

For cluster housing: lot of inquiries, but my prefrence would be to sell it (cheap) for $50 to whoever buy the light. If not, whoever buy the light (if desired), or Brenton, would get it.

For light: lot of inquiries & offers (one from Saudi ???). Working out on price

For wheels: two offerings, checking shipping rate. Too bad none is local.

Edited: lot of people ask for pix about status of wheels (tire & rim), here they are. I also took pix of back, to show that it's OEM rims, not the aftermarket crap

And here's the light

All Sold. Thanks all.

FedEx quoted insane amount for shipping the wheels, and won't even guarantee the chrome during shipping, unless I put each wheel in big box & pad them. Probably cost as much as the wheel itself , so I am selling wheels to those who will pick up locally.

Hey Zam, I bought a set of 16' wheels from a SoCal seller a few months ago. I only bought the wheels but he packaged them in indiviual boxes and the shipping to me in North Carolina was only about $100.00. Also it only took about 3 days to ground them, UPS........

Now I am sure the tires would add weight but it cant be that much more of a cost, maybe $50.00. Just thought I would share my experience. I'd like your wheels and tires but the wife would "kkkiiillllll" me if I bought them...........

Good luck!

Jeff

Zam, can you still do the lights? I wish to get another W210 with bixenon headlights this time. I got hold of a seller selling the E46 Bixenon (in USA) that have a shield for RHD. I am selling my current ones, so i might want to upgrade to that bixenon headlights.
