97 E420 Vs. 98 Cl500
ok guys, wut u think i should get? i have an E420 right now, an i wanna trade it for a 98 cl500, only thing is the cl has a salvage title, cuz somone vandalized it, now it is professionaly fixed, and looks really nice. test drove it, and man, i drove the ***** outta it to see how it does, it's not bad, i love it, it has 3 peice brabus wheels 19" and it has 70,000 my e class has 108,000 here's the link to the cl, tell me u guys thikn it's a good trade? the guy wants 9500 for the cl. wit salvage title. this car is really badass,it'snot much of a harder kick down as my e420, but i'm buying this for class, not speed.

this guy has had other salvage cars on the net,always minor issues that caused it to be salvage.Think of it this way,he has a profit,he has cost to repair,so what did he buy it for 6k-7k? the insurance co.would have fixed it if it was worth 25,000.So the math doesn't add up,,,Run don't walk to the nearest exit.Keep yours!

I'd like to own a CL500 too but not the one you're considering. I think the operative words you used are "SALVAGE TITLE". It's probably junk, and I would keep your E420 until you find something nicer.

hey thanks for responding guys, u really thikn i shouldn't huh? thing is they wwon't say where it was damaged when it was vandalized, or i wonder IF it was vandalized, but it did drive nice, one of the back windows woun't go all the way down, and the doors were kinda shaky when the windows were down and u close the doors.u'd see the whole panel kinda shake. kinda scared ya lol, and the drivers side windows, up, they stay like a crack open, u thikn it neds reseting? or it juss got $$ucked up when it was "vandalized"?

HAHA ANYWAYS USUALLY WHEN CARS ARE WRECKED AND PUT BACK TOGETHER MANY PARTS STAY LOOSE AND SHAKE. PLUS YOU SAY THAT THERE WAS A CRACK BECAUSE THE WINDOW DOESNT SHUT ALL THE WAY? SEEMS LIKE THE WHOLE VANDALIZING THING IS STRAIGHT
