Greetings, new to the board. My wife came in the house holding the passenger side vanity mirror cover, one of the small pin broken. Does anyone know the part number for the cover only and an approximate cost of it... or even better a store other than the dealer where it can be purchased. Many thanks in advance

2007 S-550, 2001 E-430 & 1997 E-420
It is easy fix
I had 2 broken mirror cover in my 2001 E-430. I call dealer and got the price of $40 each.
I decided to fix it by my self. It is easy.
Remove the cover and mirror from Visor, use plastic flat knife and pray on mirror assembly, it will pop out of visor.
Then I went and got no HEAD 1" small nails. Heat up the nail pointy part on stove till it is really hot then take the pointy hot part of nail carefully straight into the cover where the old plastic arm was.
Once the nail cool down, just cut it to same lenght as original plastic arm.
Do same on other side of the cover.
Once both side got nail in it and cooled off and cut to lenght, you can now snap in the cover over the mirror holding back part.
Walla, you are done. Now pop the mirror assembly back into the visor.
It work and look fine. It is more stronger now then original cheap plastic crape arm.
