It's behind a little door...down by the hood release in the drivers footwell area.

Smile Pics? you don't need no pics

Like above, little black plastic door about 4 inches to the right of the hood release.Behind it is the multi pin port for the obd2,read the codes and record them before you clear it,so you can figure out what is wrong.

Those would lead me to the MAF first. It's not difficult to service or replace. Clear the codes, clean your MAF, and see if the codes come back.

I'm looking for an MAF online and found www.autopartswarehouse.com for $308USD. Sounds a little pricey?

I would get a MAF spray cleaner from any autoparts store first, clear code, remove the MAF, sray it, let dry, put it back in, and try it again before spending that money

If cleaning dosen't work

Look up the post about maf clean and replace.also my rec is to replace with just the insert from germanstar
www.germanstar.net/210f.htm for about $138 incl shipping.you need to remove the air bonnet and maf tube anyway and its not the maf body that wears out so why replace it?PICS and diy someplace on this site or over on benzworld.org
make sure to get a set of security torx or just the # that you will need. Some parts stores have them cheap for the set and you will use the other ones someday when you change the spark plugs. Also make sure you reinstall the air tubes and clamp rings with no crimps and kinks or else you will have intake air leaks which will make the code return and leave you scratching your noggin.Clear the codes when done or they will clear themselves after several good drive cycles.Don't do it by disc the battery, that is the po mans way and most o them end up posting the age old question of "how do I get my radio code now that I've disconnected my battery?"

"GOT CODES?"
p.s.If you clean it,remove the insert anyway and clean it properly with crs brand maf cleaner, and don't touch it with anything but the spray.......
