at first glance, it doesn't look like a typical black box, rather a mechanical/
pneumatic control type valve. why not just look up to see what Y34 means
on the same CD?

Vacuum lines
Are color coded on the mb,so trace the line from the engine intake vacuum port back to the 4 port vacuum manifold,some of the systems are under the front foot well carpets,some are under the dash.Do you have the CD?

I do not have the CD, I got this from online one night! That lil box with the 4 vacuum lines is the control for the front (center) vents and the defrost vents. I peek around to see if I can locate it
