no side markers on my front bumper
All the E class I have see has the orange sidemarker/reflector on the the front bumper except for mine.
How come mine doesnt have it?
I get a lamp malfunction every time I turn on the light switch to the parking lights. Could this be why? I know the tail lights usually gives you problems, but the malfunction indicator does not come on when I hit the brakes.

Obviously you have euro-bumpers. Overhere in Europe we don't have those side markers (see my sigpic) The previous owner must've put them on, and the lamp malfunction warning could be caused if he didn't put a resistor over the leftover lamp connectors. It could also be your car was originally delevered in Europe and has been exported to the US, in which case the lamp warning could be anything... (LED's installed maybe somewhere?)

To find out if your's is an Euro spec or US spec, you can do a VIN search to see where it was delivered and what specs it came with. This will save you from a wild goose chase removing the impact strips (or bumper?) to see if you have some loose connector without a bulb in there.
As said if it is Euro spec, the cause of the warnings is not the absent sidemarkers.

The W210 in the Pic does NOT have EURO Front Bumper inserts as the chrome insert is to short....On the EURO Bumper Insert the chrome insert is a LOT longer on the side Unlike the one in the pic...Looks like a body shop just filled in the side marker and repainted it...It stills looks a LOT better than the UGLY Orange side marker
