2 tone??

1999 E300 TurboDiesel black/black
2 tone??
i have to repaint my black 99 E300TD and was thinking of the bumpers a dark grey, a-la early 90's 300E's. anybody have a pic of a W210 painted like this?

I think it might work, if you paint from the bumper down....as you mentioned ah-la early 90's; But some one did from above the door down...IMHO it didn't look good at all! I'll see if I can find the link from benzworld.

to paint 2 tone, u need a definite line to seperate the zones.
if the line exists, then the next step would be to check the area of the 2 zones... should be more or less equal.
then the color co-ordination.

No, that doesn't work for me either. I think if you painted the roof black to look pano style and possibly a CF hood, that might look nice and about as far as I'd go. I've seen the black roof on a white W210, Alex did it in here and it looked nice. Also, some don't like it but I like the look of a CF hood on a W210...
