Joe,
You should buy the car you want know and worry about what car you will drive in 07 around 06 or so. I think you will like the new E 500 so much, you may just stay in the E and not want a bigger car. There is a big diff between the two. I would get the E now and upgrade, if you want to, when the time comes.
ps. you are talking about 5 years from now and I have owned 4 trucks myself and my wife is on her thrid car, our E, in that time frame.
