Tire Rack - no more AMG rims
"We have made a decision to
discontinue selling AMG wheels. As you are probably aware of the US
Dollar to Euro conversion rate has not been very favorable recently
that and the market demand for the AMG wheels has been on a steady
decline over the last couple of years are a couple of the most glaring
reasons for this decision.
Our current inventory pricing has been reduced on a majority of the AMG
wheels we have in stock so, if you are looking to upgrade into some authentic
AMG wheels give me a call or use the link below to see what is available for
your Benz today
As always we can put together a wheel & tire package with lug hardware
included, when needed, at no charge. We also have original Mercedes center
caps and tire pressure monitoring sensors."

i like your ASA rims. but tirerack doesnt seem to carry any good looking ASA rims anymore, but instead "sport edition" makes those same wheels. damn

Hey bro, I don't think there's a big difference (in terms of looks and weigh) between ASA and Sport Edition. The only thing I can see now is that ASA was made in Korea and Sport Edition is now made in China. I would guess that ASA might have sold their license to SE in producing these rims.
Also, SE has the "gunmetal" style look just like the 65AMGs

Hi Raymond g, I looking to buy a OEM rear rim 17x8.5 for my 04 CLK55 AMG. Are the rims sold on Tirerack OEM AMG rims? Also, Tirerack displayed two different rims for my CLK55, W203 twin spoke with 34 offset and W209 twin spoke with 30 offset. Which rims is the correct one for my car. Thanks.

Fall in love since the first day of delivery. Ordered the car in Dec. and it took 5 months due to high demand of the engines....
It eclipses every aspect of the shiety C230
The 6spd gear box is definitely 1000 times better than the one in the slushy C230. Handling, no questions asked. It's like riding on a roller coaster in twisty roads
. Power...haha....
It throws you back to the seat up to 100mph if you floor it and red line every gear. And, if you want to spend $1300 on a chip aka Proceed, that gets you 400 +hp easily... Braking is awesome too.
There's one down side though. The car doesn't come with spare tires and only have RFT. It gets rough and bumpy if you drive by the lovely "off road" DC streets. I am still debating whether I should get rims for her though![nix](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/nixweiss.gif)
Sorry, I didn't mean to Hi-jack the thread. Just got too excited about my 335i ..
