I would go H&R springs (made in Germany) and Bilstein shocks and maybe change pads...

Eibach springs, Bilstein shocks, do a slight front rake for a nice look.

I think #1 in front, and #3 in back, but i can't remember for sure. Make sure you get a 4-wheel alignment done after the drop, otherwise your tires will wear unevenly from the altered camber angles. Hope this helps!

I am also going to install my Eibach springs and Bilstein sports shocks. I had H&R before on my 97 E420 and loved them. I wanted to try the Eibachs now because I heard they are a bit softer ride than the H&R's. Either way, you can't go wrong with either of these combos.

Here is a pic of my previous E420 on H&R sport/Bilstein sport combo on #1 pads and 19" Carlsson staggered wheels:

Jimmy, what body kit did you have on your 420? Very nice look. I can see why you still miss that car, even with your new e55. Love those Carlsson Evo 1/6 19s, still looking for a set.

Thanks! I imported everything from Carlsson Germany at that time, the front and rear bumpers are authentic Carlsson and the side rockers were 00-02 W210 stocks. I didn't like the Carlsson rockers so I used these which were a perfect match for me.

Btw, there is a set of authentic Carlsson 2/6 Brilliants on ebay right now: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...4%2B%26fvi%3D1
