if you sat inside the car and your vision got tested from outside, you would probably test as legally blind. 15% is way too dark for front. even 35% would be too dark, can't see ****.
also why would you wanna give the cops a reason to pull you over.

I have my front windshield tinted. I'm not sure on the % but I have 2% on all the other windows. I can't imagine what it's like without 2%. I've gotten one ticket for $70 but I will gladly pay a ticket or 2 a year to keep it on.

Never thought I would see this here. NC and GA is pretty stringent about their tint laws. We have cars registered in NC and in GA was told that next year it will not pass the yearly required NC inspections. It has 20% all the way around. GA does not have inspections so officers are more likely to pull you if they suspect the tint is too dark. They actually carry meters that slip over the glass and give a reading of the tint factor. I know this stuff because I am an EyeDoctor and have issued this form in the past (WHEN NECESSARY.) GA Annotated code 40-8-73.1 for reference.

LOL....Neither. I just love the the way it looks from the outside and the way it feels from the inside. It gets a little hard to see at night but luckily I have good eye sight so it's no problem. I wouldn't recommend it for everyone. It's great for fighting the Florida sunshine. The cop that pulled me over slipped one of those little things over the window and it read 2%. He was impressed.

what you got to do is get a 2" strip around your windows of lighter, and legal, tint. then they cant test it.

The laws change with every state though. so check your state and see whats legal. call a local tint shop and ask whats "legel."

I dont like the way really dark tint on most cars, but 35 isnt all that bad at night.

If you tint the windsheild, it will make the inside alot darker. 50% probably wouldnt be noticable, i just wouldnt go too dark on the front two.. or the backs.

We just picked up a film that goes on the outside of the windsheild that protects again rocks. The rep shot marbles at his windsheild and didnt harm the glass. ill probably go with that pretty soon.
