E320 Coolant Question/Issue

Hello everyone,
I have a 1995 E320 Diesel which is currently located in New York State. Recently I have been experiencing a problem with the fluid leaking. I damaged the front end of the car last January and never had it fixed as the car ran fine and the mechanic could find nothing wrong with it. Anyway here is my current problem. I filled the resevoir up with water only because it had been leaking so bad that the light would come on every two-three days. Stupid part on me because now that water is frozen solid. The temperature here is below 30 F. My question first of all how bad is this for the car? I can't imagine its good. Second, will adding anti-freeze to the frozen water unfreeze it? I know that is a stupid question but having an answer to it would be helpful. Finally, where do I add fluid directly to the radiator? Is that located in the owner's manual or could someone describe to me where I would do that? I feel so stupid to have done this .

Thanks

have a couple of friends help you push the car to a heated garage and leave it there overnight if you don't have one at your home/apartment. next morning drain all the water, replace hoses + clamps and refill with fluid. then test it with that pressure thingie that mechanic shops have (can't remember the name) to see if still leaking. hopefully it's not your water pump. if you are not that familiar with your car then have a mechanic do it.

I am up at school right now and do not have access to a heated garage, I am only up here for another 4 days then I head home, is this going to hurt my car badly or will it be ok?

don't

start it that's for sure.get into heated garage as above, throw some electric heating blankets on top of a tarp and wrap the engine, get a hair dryer and heat the coolant tank and the radiator.it may take more then a day.Drain all water, button it up and fill with 50/50 anti freeze and water.per your manual. Then charge the battery fully and start her up,you need to find that leak and you need to thaw it now before any water in the block expands beyond the room it has

if it

ran and the belt did not fly off and burn upthen the water pump was turning and not froze,so if you cant get it inside, find some long dryer vent tube and have a buddy back up to the car and hook the tube to his exhaust and insert the end up under your car below the engine.Keep an eye on it to make sure it doesn't get to hot.if you can get one of those heated dip sticks and a long extension cord that will help warm up the oil which in turn will help heat the block.
You can get any radiator shop to pressure test and find that leak...........
please do it before the engine suffers.
