Face Lifted W210 front Bumper cover for Per-facelift

Will the front bumper cover from the face lifted W210 bolt onto a 1997 W210 which is a pre-facelift model? I'm tired of the old design and it's chipped and dirty.
thanks.

thanks for the reply. shoot, what would be the solution for making our pre-facelift w210's a little more modern looking? I've seen some body kits on ebay like the AMG one but I don't like the front bumper it's too bulky. I need something the flows better with the body.

Also, does anyone have the side moldings from the post facelift w210 for sale? I need those. thanks.

You would have to cut your bumper and have the new one grafted to the old one. The side moldings are available from the dealer, or you could get aftermarket non-painted ones from autopartswarehouse (I don't think they have complete moulding kits, but you could buy the ones they have, and supplement them with dealer mouldings). The non-facelift amg "sport" front bumper looks similar to the facelifted one, so that might be a better, cheaper route. Sidenote: you can fit the rear "updated* bumper with little to no modification.

no-the rear bumper on the later w210's comes up higher then the older ones-it's not an easy swap either. Those early AMG style front's are pretty pricy-good luck finding one! If you put the later stuff on an earlier W210, I think the hood needs to be swapped too. Try parking next to a newer model and notice the differences...

good info, do you remember what problems you had putting on the more modern looking rear bumper?

If anything, i just want to add that an the updated lights to give her a 02 look.

check out axl's thread on here , a decent body shop can do it pretty easily (show them AXL's pics and have both bumpers ready), you just have to take the top of the old one and the bottom of the new one the line looks like it lines up quite well. they sell polymers to fix and repair bumpers that will weld the material together.
