Thannks for the chart. The problem IS in the DAS. Just tried to lock/unlock the car and there are no LEDs....none. with either key. Soooo.....I guess the RCL module is the culprit. But, I get no codes on the reader. Can the RCL module be replaced without changing the ECM and key's etc??

I noticed this AM that the LED's for the door was not working...trying to investigate the DAS. Charged the cars battery last night...changed the blade key battery and still no go. Thought I would look again in the battery compartment fuse box and look for corrosion....then re-investigated the fuses up front and YUPE....found one for the infared control. When I first looked at them I did it without removing them from the holder 'cause it was hard to remove them. Discovered a tool to remove them in the tool kit this morning so used that to review each one again. Guess what...the car started....but runs lake crap... So, now down that road....probably the air mass sensor. Thanks for all your input. I has been very helpful........nice having somebody to bounce this stuff off of.

I have taken it apart and "cleaned" it with an electronic cleaner to no avail. I think I may just get the insert and be done with it. I will look closer for bad vacuum lines and will post results. I haven't rechecked the codes....will report those later. To quote a close friend of mine from Australia..."softly softly catchee monkee" whatever that means.
