Looking for a pair of pre-owned OEM Xenon’s complete kit or Zam’s Bi-Xenon’s for 01 W210. I know there must be someone out there who has an pair or looking to trade their car and might be looking to sell these.

I've got an OEM Xenon assembly for the passenger side. It's got pretty bad road rash on the lenses, but if you want to get into the lens replacement then you could have a nice set-up on the cheap. PM me if you're interested.

(got in an accident and the drivers sides assembly was broken and replaced...I bought a new passenger side to replace at the same time so they would match)

This set-up is far superior to any OEM set-up for the W210 body style. Many can vouch for me. It's requires a little bit of handy-skills, but the effort is well worth it. I'm sure there's someone on here to take up an opportunity to make some money, i.e. retrofit, for this kind gentleman. I'd sell you mine, but then I wouldn't have a set of lights in my car...hahaha. To say the least, I love them to death and am a bit spoiled from them. Now, if I can get some foglights that perform just as well...

first with the RS6. everything is out on the project bench but i've not touched
it in a month. still thinking of the best method to fasten the projector to the
Depo post mounts. am thinking I would epoxy 4 mounting points on the projec-
tors from which "Z" shaped metal tabs would protrude and line up with the
Depo posts. how was yours done?

Yes, I made my own. All I did was cut the bowls out of the DEPO projectors and fitted them onto the RS6 bowls. I did a bit of cutting and made it work.

ghaffar - How much do all the parts cost approximately? Just looking for an estimate before I even think of doing it myself.

I used the stencil, similar to another retro-fitter's method. The holes from the RS6 didn't match up to the to DEPO, so what I did was cut the bowl off, and then there was the cut-out, i.e., stencil. I have pictures, but not on this computer. I'll get them to you later tonight or tomorrow. It's much easier this way. It cuts down on 'from-scratch' parts.

DEPO - $265
RS6 projectors - $160
Phillips D2S 85122+ 5000K bulbs - $100
Ballasts - $150 - $200

It's well worth it.

ah...got it. you didn't mention the projector lens. did you simply reuse the
Depo lens and only swapped out the projector bowl? r-

when i did mine, i bought one of those generic HID kits on ebay with the bulbs and ballasts for ~$100, since i wasn't sure it would work out, etc. i've been running them for months now with no issues at all, so that's a way to cut the cost too, if you don't mind the generic parts.
plus the ballast was 'plug and play' so it plugged right into my headlight plug with no cutting or splicing needed...

I still use the projector and the bowl. I just cut off the bowl from the DEPO lense and use the outline for the RS6 bowl. Whatever didn't fit right, I shaved it down so that I minimized the number of cuts. I've attached for a better illustration.

Someone also wanted a beam pattern, so I attached a picture of that as well. Granted, the exposure is not at optimum settings; it's much brighter than shown.
