Power Steering Issue

My '96 E320 has 85K miles on it. Staring about couple yrs ago when it's cold (less than 35F) outside the steering wheel was squeaky when start u, but it would go away within a minute or two. Lately it appears a little harder to turn the steering wheel in the morning , but it would take less than 15 seconds for it to be back to normal again. I wonder if any of you experience something like that. What causes it ? the problem? and how to fix it?

Thanks

Sounds to me like a valve in the hydraulic system is starting to stick. There are products on the market which you add to the oil to lubricate the sticky valves, had this issue on a jag once and it worked ok afterwards, mind you cust immediatly sold the vehicle. Hows that for an honest reply.

Did you check to see if your fluid is at the full mark? If its low it could cavitate and get air into the system.......................

Yes, I did check and the fluid is at the full mark
Question: Anybody flush the power steering fluid? is there a need to do so?

Thanks for input
