I have heard that Blistein will make the ride pretty harsh ……….maybe I put this on old and do more research on the forum before changing everything.
will it take them 4hrs? no, but that's probably what they will charge
you don't really have to change your shocks,
by not changing them though, they will wear out very very fast, also the ride not optimum setup, rebound and compression won't be right
that's why it's always advised to change the shocks as well as the springs, shorter springs, shorter shocks, at the same time so you don't have pay twice for labor, and ride quality won't suffer

Take a look at the DIY that Raymond did. Its really not that bad, and will save you some cash. I was hesitant to do the springs on my car for fear of one coming loose. You may want to get professional advice regarding the spring part of the install.
