Suspension info needed

Hey ppl, i got a question. I am running off my stock shocks and springs, and i have a double subwoofer system in the trunk. its been in there for a while but i just noticed, when 2 average weight people sit in my back along with 1 in the passenger and me driving, hell, my rear end is lowered! the wheel is like almost tucking into the frame. To fix this would i need to get new springs and shocks? if so what kind? ive been wanting to lower my car, but would that just make it worse?

I am not a suspension expert so wait for other to chime in but I looked into lowering my car and this info would help you. If you lower your car with H&R springs (or any other brand) and the Blistein shocks you should just fine. You will be fine as the compression ratio of the shocks is different. A good option recommended by many is to get the AMG E55 springs and pair them up with the Blistein shocks…………….I also want to do this mod but it is currently on hold so if you’re interested I have the AMG springs you need………I got it from a member here and will pass it on to you at the same nominal cost I got them for (PM me if you’re interested)

They will be compatible but it is recommended to change the shocks when you change the springs as the life of the stock shocks will be reduced with the AMG springs. Hope this helps. So if you decide to lower your car my advise would be to chnage the shocks and the springs as save on the labor charge to get it done in one go and get it done right.

I went with the Eibach Spings and Shocks. I find them to be a huge improvement all around. It lowered my car about an inch.

regardless of this, can someone answer the question in my first post? or is there anyway to fix it right now like tightning springs and putting in bigger spring pads?

If

you have stock pads you won't raise it much with the thick pads. You can install some spring spacers from most auto stores and that will stiffen the springs and reduce drop.
Don't know how much your speakers weigh but installing a single 10"in deathbox from
http://www.decware.com/newsite/mainmenu.htm will out sound the twins and lighten up your load as well.
