![Question](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/icons/icon5.gif)
Is it possible to order the chrome smartkey and side fixed sun blinds for the W210. I have a 01 E430 and would like to order the rear fixed sun blinds like the BMW 7 series and the chrome smartkey for my car if it is available.
If you know of a vendor where I can get these items kindly reply back to this thread.

Mercedes part numbers for the blinds are here:

Keys (that work) are only available from dealers.

I had the part numbers for the side rear window fixed shades but when I found out how much they cost ($189 each) I could not throw those numbers away fast enough. I was shocked and so was the parts man. Keep in mind that you can not use the rear windows with the shades installed (not that it is a good idea to use the W210 rear windows anyway).

I've installed blinds on rear windows of my '01 wagon--since on to stepdaughter. They are the roll-up type and clip to the window glass and you can indeed use the window with them. Of course, once the window retracts about 2/3 the way, the clips disengage, and if you want the blinds back you have to reattach them.
For wagons, there are also blinds for the load compartment side windows and even a blind for the rear window.

I bought the type Kent is talking about and I really like them. I mostly wanted them to protect the leather in the rear of the car. A friend referred me to MB of Anaheim and they had to special order them for me. This was about a year ago and they were getting very scarce in the US. Another option might be www.MBenzNL.com and speak with Steve or his assistant Wanda.

I can get the side blinds for about $140 each. Might be special order from Stuttgart, but that's usually no big deal. Usually.
I could also get you a chrome key but they decided to be a d*ck about it because someone stole a car once.
