98 E320 99 E430 w/mods

Exhaust upgrade

I'm considering changing the cats and muffler on my 99E430. looking to increase performance. Not sure what to look for. Looking for information on REASONABLY priced parts. any info is welcome. thanks

Well I do not think you will get much of a performance gain but removing the resonator and putting in a X pipe will give it a great sound. Im working on getting a video to hear the sound clip of mine.

300E a couple 1994 w124wagon E320 Wagon/,1971MGB Track/Rally, MG Midget Autocross ,2000 E320 wagon.

Per

above .resonator delete and an H pipe of the same diameter as the exhaust pipes is about all you need.An H pipe will give that engine a few more ft lb of torque over an x pipe and torque down low is what you are looking for.

ive got the 420 and i think its a single pipe to the back. so i dk if i can do the x pipe or H pipe.
