trunk opens by itself??
So recently my car wasnt starting so i got a new battery and installed it and the car is fine now, but a few days after i installed the battery, for some reason the trunk opens by itself when the car isnt on, so when i park it in my drive way at night, ill wake up and the trunk is open. Any ideas why this would happen, and how to fix it?

Check the trunk opener switch located near the cup holder. I would also try to reset the car by removing the battery lead for a minute and connect back. You will have to resynchronize and enter the radio code when the battery lead reconnected.
(Also, all the doors and the trunk lid is connected to the central vacuum pump system)

above.But always remember to disconnect only the neg terminal,and always have the key out of the ignition when doing the reset.Or replacing the battery.

okay ill try that, and also the car wont lock or unlock with the remote anymore after i installed the battery, so im guessing this will be solved with disconnecting the neg lead for a min and then putting it back on

Sounds like you have resynchronize issue. If this is the case look in your user manual for instructions. As Ohlord stated as well "Make sure to keep your ignition key off when removing the battery negative lead." (I heard horror stories regarding this. Dying battery or removal while the key is on position may damage the key system. Please someone correct me if what I heard is wrong)

well when i installed the battery the key wasnt even in the ignition so i dont have to worry about that, but now the car is really going crazy, this morning i walked outside and the right mirror was moving by itself while the car was turned off and it kept going down, and wouldnt stop clicking. But it would stop as soon as i opened the door, and then when i closed the door it started back up, but at this point the car still turned on, but i still took another car today, so when i got back home today i tried to start the car to take it to get checked out and the key wouldnt turn at all its locked, so i have no idea what wrong with the car now its going crazy, and all this happened after i installed a new battery, so any ideas before i get the car towed?

be dead again from the mirror issue.trunk mirrors windows roof all controlled by the ccm and the pse.
charge the battery overnight(key out)10 amp charger
use the posts under the hood.
then

do this and step on the brakes for a 1/2 minute and rehook the lead.
then put the key in and turn the wheels al the way left to all the way right and back a few times to center the steering wheel angle sensor.then roll all the windows down and open the sun roof.Close them one at a time and when fully close keep holding the switch for a few seconds and then repeat with all the other windows and the sun roof.Then they will all be synced.Remember to punch in your radio code.

if this does not work to reset the systems it may be the switch panel on the console is shorting out or something in it is going or you have moisture issues back by the pse which is located next to the battery.

well i tried to do this but after i unplugged the negative lead and pushed the breaks down for 30 sec, then plugged the neg lead back in, but after i put the key in, its still locked and wont turn, so the steering wheel wont turn and i cant open or close any of the windows or the sunroof

I have the same problem,
Lights are flashing inside, rear sunshade won't run, reverse lights won't work, parktronic system won't work, looks the door while the is inside the switch,
Mirrors don't go down, esp switch won't work, a click sound comes from the middle speaker, hbs wont work, brakes are like hell, lights dimming while the car is off, cluster lights dimming while the car is off,
My mind is dimming beacUse all of these
