Just Got Error Code P0300 (Whats wrong now)

Just Got Error Code P0300 (Whats wrong now)

My check engine light just came on and i have a scanner and it detected error code P0300 in the book it described it as Misfire cylinder i reset the code to see if it will come back but I just want to know if anyone got this code before and what was the damage associated just tryin to get prepared for the worst.

300E a couple 1994 w124wagon E320 Wagon/,1971MGB Track/Rally, MG Midget Autocross ,2000 E320 wagon.
I would have

answered over on benzworld.org w210 section,but i jumped over here.
The 420 is noted for random misfires p0300 most notably for the spark plug connectors.Have you recently washed the engine or ran through a big puddle of water?
Check all plug connectors and spray a shot of wd40 down each spark plug recess to dry any moisture and then see if the erased code comes back.
We have another member that lives in your area.

Now that you mentioned it there was just a big rain storm we had Tuesday and thats the day i got it and i did go thru big puddle of water so that migh of contributed to the error. I reset the code with my scanner and its been two days so far so good so hopefully that was the problem.

I have P0308 and P0300 on 97 E420

Check my post, I have misfire on cylinder 8 and then I got p0300. I am putting new plugs, new coil on cylinder 8 and waiting to find out if I should replace spark plug connectors. www.Shopstopanddrive.com best price for ign. coil other items.

for an mass air sensor at that link and while the coil is the same price the 10% added for shipping when autohausaz.com ships for free over $50 orders.$8 more for an evap temp sensor plus $6.50 shipping for a less than 1ounce partit really pays to shop around some.How is their customer service?and should not the link read stopshop not shopstopand drive.I always find it helpful to stop before getting out to shop
