Damn.. A light is out
Hi,
Recently the light behind my unit that controls the air inside of the car went out. The one that has the climate control..
Any idea how I can fix that light.
I hope it is not to hard or expensive.
I drive a 2000 E430 4-matic.

Easy
you need the radio keys that are also used for the climate control.PM me for delivered on the boxed set cluster hooks and keys for when you lose a cluster bulb also.
you insert the keys pull the climate module and on the bottom side is a tiny white twist out socket,you twist it out pull out the little bulb and replace it.

. The display now shows a bunch of black lines coing threw it when turned on. Is there a fix???

liquid crystal numbers?If they are failing and you can't read them but the unit still works,it is only the display failing and a new module is the solution,or one from a wrecking yard.I can get a deal on new and will check some yards I have special access to.You can also check online at http://www.mbpartsonline.com/

! Guess I need a new, or good used unit. It still displays and works fine. I just dont like looking at wild lines going through the liquid display.
