brake squeak
Brakes squeek at stoppping at low speeds, like from 2mph to zero, and as u release the pedal slowly , they make a annoying noise, should i bring it to dealer? its a 2000 e430 , its under warranty still

On a 2000 model year..The car has 12mo 12,000 mile Adjustment period.From date of sale..The dealer Will take care of adjustments..Including Brake Squeak..After the period the dreaded brake squeak is a Customer Pay item
You can remove the pads, file the edge of the Pads at a 45 and Install antisqueak on the BACK Side (The Metal Backing of the brake pad)
It Should Stop the pads from making noise!

Ok guys , i complained about my break noise at the dlr, he said nothing he can do , its not under warranty, states wear and trar isnt covered in the warranty, any ideas guys? is this true or is he busting on me

Please go back to dealer if your car has LESS than 12,000 miles or LESS than 1 year old from date of sale (NEW)
That period is ADJUSTMENT and Mercedes WILL cover brake pad squeak...I Was a MB Tech.. If they are B/S ing You try a Good dealer..BTW did You buy your car at this dealer?...they use that sometimes or the Service advisor is Just not Customer friendly
Or talk to the Service MANAGER
If you Did Buy the car at that dealer.(New) With less than 12/12.You Will get a 12mo survey.From Mercedes Benz.and YOU can Use that survey to SLAM the Service Advisor Its called Leverage
or talk to your sales person..Cause Mercedes Will send a copy of the survey to the dealer with stated remarks from you...And Mercedes Does use this for Guide to rate the Dealer on CSI Score...
