Got the 02 E430 4Matic w/ Sport package
77k mi for 9k. Silver with black interior. It has a sport package with seat adjuster that I hae never seen....

You have the multi contour seats option. Nice ride for 9K. To you it is priceless though. Congrats and goodluck with it.

If that's the car I saw in Glenview IL. 2 months ago, you got a great car and a great deal. I went with another car and looking back I wish I would have bought that one. It was listed at $14,900 at the time.

It's not the sport package, however. Sport package is special spoke wheels and the lower body mouldings from the E55. Also, it has a badge on the front fender that says "Sport". You're not really missing anything, though as the sport package is only cosmetic. It has the same suspension and drive train as the normal E430 (or E320). Does anyone know if you could get a 4matic with the sport package? I've never seen or heard of one.

Yeah... The dealer made a mistake on those. I did call them and talked to them that it is not a sports package... Oh well.
I still love this car. This was the only E-Series with GOOD LCD on the dash. I even saw one 2002 E320 with 44k mi with bad LCD.
Only thing that need on this car is the washer fluid cap.

Yep - that's the same car. (the carpeted cover lid the cd player is detached right?)
Great buy congratulations. Motorsource also has (or maybe had) a lot on Lehigh Ave in Glenview right by the old Glenview NAS.

Sweet! It is nice car. Chris and Jeff are the owners of the dealer and they have moved to Highland Park area. Got quite a few MBs Land Rovers and other nice looking vehicles..

I guess they finally sold out the land. That area is targeted for residential re-development by Glenview and they are trying to push out all the "legacy" business along the RR tracks. Kind of the only old industrial strip left near Glenview NAS.
Now.... Let's find a good local indie that will work on our new-to-us E430 4Matics.
