Brake Problem...
but then my brakes seem to become "loose" over time. I took my 99 e320 to a local shop. The mechanic said my pads were good & no air leaks etc & bleed the brakes. Afew weeks later the same problem occurs. I took back to the local shop & bleed they brake again & he recommended I take my car to the benz shop...he stated it maybe a problem with the abs.
Find a good MB shop and have it done correctly.
I had similar problem on my infiniti but if you abs sensor does malufunc. that means you still have ordinary brakes strong like nothing happened. If it is problem with abs you will have issue on slippery road because brakes could lock and car will be starting to slide.
I think you have still air in brake lines and that is why you will feel like soft brake pedal from time to time depends when that air bubble hit brake cylinder.Tell me how did they bled the brakes?Did they do every caliper or just one on the back?
do you losing any brake fluid from time to time? DOT-4 buy if you need to fill up.
another thing could be vacuum issues too.
