Did you

remove the caliper mounting bolt from the back side of the caliper?
Double check your work, and it is always a good idea to only do one side at a time so you have a comparison to look at if you are winging it without a WIS or diy .You will figure it out and go DOH

in the DIY section i printed out in BenzWorld same as the DIY on this forum but pdf file it say i do not have to remove but loosen only the mounting bolts from the back side if im not changing the rotors so i guess i'll just take those mounting bolts off and see whta happen

Thanks ohlord....

It's in the engine compartment driver's side wheel well, you'll see brake lines and a module. your vehicle is equipped with asr , it can apply brakes without you hitting a brake pedal so play it safe and key not in the ignition and disconnect the module. Try prying the brake pads a little to colapse the caliper then it should give you enough clearance to lift the caliper off .
If you want a more complete version of this procedure use the search in the w210 section someone did a very nice writeup of it.
