CODE P0507
Got the car out on the raod today for the first time after the engine swap. About 40 miles highway and 15 city driving. I was coming out of the parking lot at the office and the CEL came on. When I got home and put the car in park the idle went to 1800rpm and held there. Scanned and got P0507. Reset and let the car run seems ok now. What could have caused this. Should I clean a few connections (throttle sensor, cam sensor)?????

Idle
control circuit higher than expected.Just reset it and reset the battery and let the system adapt. You should return to normal once it learns the new values.
If not it is back to the SDS.![EEK!](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/eek.gif)

By resetting the battery do you mean disconnect the battery? If yes how long do I need to keep it disconnected?
Thanks

Just disconnect the neg lead
and with the key out of the ignition step on the brake pedal for 30 seconds to remove any residual charge. Then resync your windows roof and enter your radio code.Turn the steering wheel from lock to lock and back a few times with the engine running in park to recenter the steering wheel angle sensor.
Keep us posted, and once again good job![thumbs](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
