this seems to look much better than the standard avantgardegrill with a star insert. Anyone have a picture of it on a car? preferably a dark color?

have you seen this style grill on a 210?
It's not the same as the regular avantgarde grill with 4 rows + frame and a star in the middle. This is the same style as mercedes uses on their newer models and it would probably look a lot different..

When I bought my 1996 E320 it had the "advant garde" grill with the star in the middle and the flat mercedes emblem on the hood. And the new flat emblem supplied with most of these grills are crap. They are huge and don't look or fit good. If you do decide to get that grill chek out DFWDudes white star emblem. Got mine and loved it. There is a before and after pic on there.

It does does not fit. The lines do not flow and the bottom row looks disconnected and does not carry the lines. It looks added on and ricy.

I purchased this grill my 98 E320 (which is almost the same) and it was crap. Cheap molded plastic, keep the Avant Style with a flat badge for a sporty look, or paint your current grill black...just an idea.
