<HR style="COLOR: #000000" SIZE=1><!-- / icon and title --><!-- message --><!-- google_ad_section_start -->Hi Im a little stuck I have a 1998 E320 100,000 miles. I was driving it Yesterday and it cut out, and refuses to start.![Confused](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/confused.gif)
1. The car starter is turning the engine over but the engine does not fire.
There seems to be no spark at the plugs. I have checked the OBDII codes but it has not thrown any codes. I have checked all of the fuses Engine bay, left of dash and under rear seat all seem ok.
there seems to be plenty of gas to the engine. pumps working fine any ideas where to look now. I think it is electrical????
Any help would be great
Thanks in advance

More than likely it is a bad Crank Position Sensor. Usually fails when hot; oftentiems will restart after has cooled off 30 minutes then stall again when it gets hot again.

What

Plus it can turn over and be a fuel pump relay.
Start with replacing the CPS about $60 buck part and diy on benzworld.org and also on www.mercedesshop.com resource section diy articles.

If we have an idea of the solution we all need to remember to post the direction out of the woods.When the crank sensor fails completely it will stall the car and not allow it to start even after cool down,His cps seems to ave died

Whom
did you order it from?They should of asked for the build date located in the drivers door pillar to be sure you got the proper one.
