Ran into a little problem.

Ok so i have a pair of Eibach pro springs and bilstein sport shocks sitting in my basement ready to be installed. I was not going to go through this project until i got all the parts. My installer quoted me a good price if i do everything at the same time (shocks springs camber bolts and arms and alignment.) I was planning on getting my camber arms from Lensolo but i discovered that my car has a insert issue with the camber arms and i would need custom inserts made that lensolo can not make. He said the inserts can become pricey at probally more than 100 dollars. 1st I dont know who can do this and i do not want to spend the excess money. what do you think i can do about this? is there any camber arms that i can get that will not have this issue?

Hey I'm not sure about the camber arms, as I've never altered mine. However, one quick tip. If you're going to get the shocks and springs done, there is a good chance the suspension pads in front dont match the same ones in back. When I installed my H&R's and Bilsteins, the *** sagged and the front looked like it was in the air. I found out I had #4 pads in front, #1 pads in back. The pads themselves only cost about $8 each, and the difference between the #1 and #4 is about 1/2 inch. The problem is, they have to remove the springs to replace the pads, so I had to pay labor twice. You'll save yourself a big hassle if you go ahead and either get your pads checked before doing the work to see which size you have, or you can go ahead and buy four #1 pads (if you want the lowest) for a total of about $32 and have the guy throw them in when he's doing the shocks and springs and he probably won't charge you any more in labor. You can buy the pads at any benz dealership.

I'll try to find pictures of my car before and after pads.

This is with #4s in front, 1s in back

This is with #1s all around.

Sorry I don't have a better picture of the after shot, I'll try to take one tomorrow on a level surface, but even though it was only about 1/2 inch, it made a huge difference in the appearance.

Pretty sure the life on these tires is only about 10k miles anyways.
