at 275 h.p. and 3700 plus pounds,a chip won't make it faster.Have you been up to or past 140mph in your 1997? If not, you need not be worrying about the mods to make it do so.
Take a certified race school driving class.That will be money well spent,before attempting 140mph.Especially since the car is electronically limited to 130
