just got my cluster removal tool..now where do i stick them into to pull or wiggle the cluster out so i can fix the time pixel?

 

cluster there is a little area that with the hooks pointed up you insert behind the cluster and turn the right hook counter clockwise and the left hooh clockwise and then gently wiggle it out.Some are so tight a tape covered screw driver gently prying from below the hook might be needed.Some have had them so tight you need to remove the under dash bolster and push from behind.

If you at least try to write properly it makes it easier for all of us to read, and you will be taken much more seriously. Remember there are a lot of foreigners, like me, here who may not be that good in english to actually understand what you mean when you don't write properly.

The shame is that they now allow writing like that to pass as acceptable in the school systems over here.So while the rest of the world struggles and apologizes for their English skills,we have people writing like this at college level.

I think "y r u" and the like are prevalent in cell phone texting to save a lot of key strokes ("c" requires 3 key strokes). But the saving is minimal on PC keyboard, it only looks funny.

That works well if your brain was originally programmed in English. Does not work if your native first language is other than English.

 

I know there is instructions on how to fix the pixel issue, however I had sent my instrument cluster (2000 E320) in for repair prior to finding it. They fixed it and shipped it out the same day..excellent service and life time warranty. It cost about 225.00 dollars plus shipping . That was 1-2 years ago and has been great eversince. Re and Re cluster is simple..I would recommend removing negative battery cable first. Here is the contact..BBA- Reman for instrument cluster repair 1-866-573-2740.........

I just did the pixel fix myself, I had issues on the left (time) and the right (temp). I had to play around with the right side (time) a few times to get it right. I used a cutout from an old mouse pad and some tweazers. Good Luck.
