I have located a 00-02 Carlsson W210 bodykit (front, rear, side, wing & exhaust). How extensive of a mod to have it installed on a 1999 E300. I was told the rear,side, wing & exhaust are no problem. What would I need to do for the front. Any help would be great.

I was planning to use a local body shop to handle the painting and see what all is involved on the install. If it is more than bolting them on, I would have it professionally installed.

 

I'd recommend having the shop do it all. Sometimes bodykits require alignments, special adhesives, double sided auto industry tapes and certain tool to hold the pieces together while they cure. They also need more than one person to hold while one tapes or apply the glue, etc.

 

Where did you find that Body Kit I hava 1999 E430 would be imterested of getting it if it's possible to instal it on a 1999 Eclass.

I located it from a performance shop in CA. Last I heard he has 00-02 front & rear bumper. No sides. I had no luck locating any pre-2000 Carlsson kits. I was trying to update to the AMG bodykit but had to wait 6-8 weeks for Side Skirts. Good luck. When I receive the parts in I'll know if the front bumper can be done. He also has the Carlsson exhaust on ebay. Check out the auction and you can contact him from there.

 

6-8 week wait is not long, especially to get your first choice. Strange, there are many AMG sources especially on the internet. You should be able to find it more quickly.

 

I probably gave up to easily on the AMG Kit for my 99 but when I located the Carlson Kit for half the price and it included the rear wing & exhaust I had to order it. Now I don't know if I can pull off this conversion without locating a pre 6/99 front spoiler. From the info I've received, all other parts will fit.
