looking for e320 wagon 1998-2002
I am looking to buy e320 wagon 1998-2002 , which is the best for around that years? but i only have max $ 10.000 ,& what is the common problem within that year, actualy i don't need 4 matic. i am living in california

The E320 wagon was available through 2003. Get the newest you can afford. And with the lowest mileage and with a good service history. Pick the color of your choice with the options of your choice and do a search online like autotrader.com or cars.com to name a couple of sites. If you expand and do a nationwide search you choices become many. Black cars show scratches more easily. Silver cars are the most popular. Be picky and negotiate. The choices are many. Don't be afraid to shop nationwide for what you want. Join MBCA and have a local member check out a find for you. I am sure that would help. If you buy from an MB dealer shop with confidence and get it starmark checked. Shipping costs are not too bad if you go that route. Expect 800-900$ for east to west coast ship.

thanks for all info, I living in Los angeles , & I prefered white color, I saw some of them in auto trader but mostly asking over 12k ,so what it fair price for year 2001 -02 ?

10-12K with out going to auction or a wholesaler is about avg in so cal. The previous statement is right. Newest year 02' or 03' is best. Get it inspected. choose wisely! Don't forget that at 98000m is a minimum $1000 (at an Indie) tune up...Love my wagon. 4matic is awesome in snow. The e320 even in W mode is loose in snow if that matters. The interior space and amenities rival cars today and at 20-28mpg, you cannot go wrong.
