Headlight switch problem

My driver side headlight does not work properly, I figured out it was the fuse not sitting right in the headlight switch fuse box, I curved the fuse endings a bit with pliers and it worked for a bit but now it went out fully, just wondering if all W210 headlight switches/fuse boxes are interchangeable so I can get a used one of ebay?

Not sure but seems to be common issue with fuses.

Where are you based?

Solder

in a jumper and insert an inline fuse and tuck it into the box.Easier than finding and paying for a new switch and installing it.
Repair about 50cents for the inline fuse holder

Arrr wish you would of responded a bit sooner, I already bought the switch on ebay a few days ago, only cost $30 so its not bad. What do you mean by jumper ? I wouldn't mind a temp solution until the switch arrives. Thanks

Picked up a inline fuse holder and tried connecting the ends into the internal connectors with no luck, I guess the connectors for that fuse are done.

Replace or fix the fuse holder.

2009 E 350 headlight switch does not light up

The headlight switch on my 2009 E350 does not light up. Does anyone know if I have to replace the switch or is there a way to replace the bulb inside it?
