Parking the E for 5 weeks- Any tips?
Hello all- I have to travel for work, and will be leaving the E320 in the garage for 5 weeks. Any tips? Full gas / empty gas? Can I get away from having it starting weekly, or is 5 weeks too long? Thanks!

When I go to my summer home I leave my cars parked for a month or more. Here is what I do.
The day before you leave let the car run for about 10 min and then park them in the garage(DO NOT LOCK THE CAR). Put the car cover on it and let it sit. I keep about 1/4 a tank in them.

Fuel will be fine
Get a battery tender(about 10 bucks at harborfreight tools) and hook it up to the charging post on the drivers side wheel well and a good ground.
That way it will start and won't put a huge load on the alternator uponst your return.
A few rat or mouse traps along the wall of the garage.
Not kidding, those varmints know when things get quiet around the house and they love to chew on Mercedes wiring.
Yummy.
