Hello MBWorld & Happy Friday!
I'm posting on behalf of Leerod. He sent me a text stating that is Laptop won't turn on. I told him that I would be nice enough to post this link for him in return for free B E E R

So I did a little more research (while at work now you really owe me Leerod) He indicated in his post that he did in fact check all the fuses, so that defiantly makes it tuff to troubleshoot. However after speaking with Mr. Leerod on the phone he in fact didn't know that there was another fuse box next to the driver side door uh oh.. tisk, tisk - Had him check number 9 fuse and Walla! Brake Lights again
But now the 2nd issue which is entirely a different topic he has to tape down the light socket to the bracket so that it can fit correctly

Hahaha! I'm not sure if it was #9, but it was definitely in that fuse box. The fuse the blew was the very first one on the left top corner. In the diagram #9 was at the bottom. Hmmm?
