MAF QUESTION
hi
got some codes leading me to maf unit. (99 wagon)
car hesitates under load......
my question - when i unplug the maf and drive it there is no hesitaion and pulls strong...sure you get a check engine light which clears when it is plugged back with a scanner...
1) does this point to a bad maf..
i have tried cleaning it but not much improvement.
2) do i wait for the car to adapt first.

Not good
it is a heated thermistor. Any residue fries the unit.
What are the codes.
Never use carb cleaner on a maf.
