It seems the glass for the heated/dimming mirrors is not available seperately. My dealer complained ed about it, they took a complete mirror assembly out of stock, popped out the glass and installed it on my car. The price seems high I think it was $500 or so for a complete mirror

I can give to all an TIP what to make so that the mirrors won`t be stolen any more...
There are 3 screws...if you put the mirror back you can see them and normally you (or other people..) can put the screws out very fast and cut the cables ans the mirror is gone...

TIP: Put the mirror back so that you can see the screws. Fasten the mirror so that you don`t need to hold it by hand.
Then take a soldering gun and brazing/soldering the top of the screws...thats a fast and easy work.
NOW the screws can`t be opened...not from you and not from the stealer.
If you need anytime to open you just heat the solder and put the screwdriver into.

BUT: I think its clear that NO stealer has an soldering gun and electricity with him

Great advice! Just curious... are the stealers also wanting mirrors of 97 models??
