Replace
the mass air sensor. It is failing and out of range.

No
not in the short term.
If cleaning worked the codes won't come back. If they do time to replace it but no hurry.Just order the new one and install it when it arrives.

He's correct clean MAF.... but 90% chance your CEL will go back on .. No rush I waited out for 5 months before I replaced.. German Star Insert (cheap)
But what I will say is I defiantly robbed myself from HP... Nothing like a fresh MAF..Your car will love you plus my gas mi up

P0170 + P0173 is definitely a failing MAF sensor. Even if you clean it, it is still a failing MAF sensor. Replace it, and your "buttometer" will thank you.

Dude
We all know what the codes indicate.Being helpful is telling him what those indications point towards as a solution.
