Outside temperature probe

My temperature indicator on my instrumentation panel reads very high. After finding the temperature probe on the outside front of my 1996, E class 300 , it looks like the probe is broken. Has anyone changed one of these probes on a w210. If so, does anybody know were to find instructions, or pictures for changing this probe? Thanks.

Yours is not as fast a r/r as the newer models nor as cheap but still easy to unplug the old wire and plug in the new.

Check with Parts Dept. at local dealer. You probably have to splice it in. If so, be sure to seal the connection well as that's a very wet area when it rains.

You just follow

the wire back unplug it and plug the new wire in. Not as easy as the new ones like I said but easy enough.
