...but since I'm back to driving my '01 daily, the miles are really wracking up!

My wife says I've been 'gone' a long time ago, but no, just never have driven it much due to other vehicles. I had a 1987 420SEL that I drove daily that I loved and since it had 65k miles on it, I drove it everywhere, even in the rain, which my '01 has never done, and that's why I bought the 420SEL in the first place. Just keeping the mileage low, for no really good reason!

Richard, I'm in the opposite situation. I hit 123,000 a year ago, and right now I'm at maybe 124,200.

No repairs, can't even think of anything that I ever had repaired under warranty, including the 7 year extended warranty that I bought and never used. I have replaced the battery twice though, due to not driving the vehicle enough during the winter. I should have at least put a Battery Tender on it to maintain the battery.

I've had different vehicles, my favorite being the 420SEL and now I'm driving a Suburban.
