Yeah I'm also wondering. My bulb for the gear position and clock is out. Is it a pain in the *** to take out the cluster?

This is how its done on a 140 the 210 is very similar, I dont think you have to go thru all the steps, but you do need the "hooks".
btw:
MB charges one hour to do it. learned the hard way!

on www.benzworld.org w210 diy section at the top of the forum.
Insert hooks at gap on sides of cluster pull the cluster replace bulbs,done.
bulbs at dealer or buy an assortment of packs of them when you order air and oil filters from www.autohausaz.com.Someone you know has cluster removal kits
