Black 99' E300 Turbo Diesel
Offering up a killer deal for this Highway King
It's black. tan leather interior. heated seats. sunroof. new wheels and tires (spring 09). runs like it has 500,000 left to go. A dealer offered $1,200 on a trade in, I left Immediately.
A few drawback might be: 3 or 4 upholstery issues (small hole or minor tear) and some electrical issues (some adjustable seat buttons not working and window buttons not working). Nothing major
I know I'm holding a gem for someone mechanically motivated and informed on what this car has to offer.
anyway... here is the link, let me know if you have any selling tips or questions.

You might want to
edit your header and remove the Pearl in favor of something that might not confuse someone into thinking you are selling a pearl colored paint mb![EEK!](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/eek.gif)
not that there is anything wrong with that

Actually the dealer offered a fair price. The effort you must put forth to sell it yourself isnt going to be worth the few additional dollars you will get. People buying inexpensive cars usually do not have enough cash to purchase even them without your holding some paper and you will end up spending a lot of effort trying to collect.

1200 fair?
I think even edmonds.com would show at least 5k for 1 1999 diesel as trade in value.Check it and see they show pretty good real world values.
He is still in a non paper price range. If someone can't afford cash on a 6grand car they probably should not be driving anything especially a Mercedes.

Yeah the dealer did nothing but embarrass himself and offer insight into how uninformed he is at his job.

This car will effortlessly sell itself to someone with some automotive knowledge and know how to fix the minor issues I cant, got a bid the first day of a 10 day auction![Big Grin](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
..... Maybe it'll even end up in the hands of some crazed environmentalist that wants to convert it to burn Waste Veggie Oil

Lally Chevy in Bedford, Ohio. Laughed it off, test drove the car and told them I would order with someone else. Gonna get the new Equinox. Living back and forth between West Virginia and Florida the car was perfect, but now being in northern Ohio and having and hour and a half daily commute there are better cars for snowy highways.
